Yes. A Food license can be taken for a period minimum 1 year and upto a maximum of 5 years at a time. They need to be renewed within 90 days from the expiry of the existing license. In case a renewal is not done within that time period, a fresh license would again have to be applied for as the FSSAI will not allow the individual or business to renew that license.
